A little while back, we received a lovely selection of juices from Barn Farm Drinks – all locally produced on the Essex/Suffolk border.
Each flavour was presented in a tall glass bottle (perfect for recycling) & boasted a large serving. All of the flavours were as tasty as each other & offered something unique – I would say they were not the standard/plain raspberry, apple, blackcurrant flavours you’d normally find, but rather a welcomed mix!
I would definitely choose to have these again, & would certainly pick them over a bottle of Coke any day!
Thank you to Barn Farms Drinks for gifting us with their drinks.
We’re treating you to another Christmas menu – this time it’s Cafe Brazil’s festive offering! This is one I’m going to be checking out- I think it’s great value for money, & you will also receive a complimentary glass of fizz – what’s not to love?!
Essex Foodies have recently been gifted with a selection of crisps from Essex based Fairfields Farm. Fairfields Farm is a family run farm dedicated to the production of crisps situated in Colne Valley, North of Colchester. The farm sees the entire production of the crisps take place including the potatoes grown & harvested to being hand cooked & package all on site.
The selection we were very kindly gifted offered a fantastic variety of flavours of which included; – Sweet chilli – Bacon & tomato – Sea salt & Aspall cyder vinegar – Cheese & onion – Lightly sea salter – Sea salt & black pepper – Tomato & herb lentil bites – Jalapeno & lime lentil bites
We’ve not yet managed to munch our way through all of the packs but once we have, we will give a run down of our favourites & more of an insight of our thoughts.
