If you’re as much of a social media addict as I am, then I’m sure over the last few months at some point you would’ve seen Tapp’d appear on your news feed somewhere. It’s hard to escape these guys when they have the likes of Kate Wright & Rio Ferdinand, Denise Van Outen ordering regularly, to name a few. For those not so much on social media, perhaps you caught Tapp’d making an appearance on none other than This Morning, where Phil & Holly sampled their cocktails.
I have seen this company all over my social media feeds but had never really considered ordering from them (I’m more of a make-it-yourself-er) so when Tapp’d got in contact, I was thrilled! They offer a variety of cocktails which are easily ordered online, & they also offer same day delivery (please check this before placing your order as there is an extra cost). Ideal if you fancy a treat, or perhaps if you’re laying on a bit of an occasion – I’ve seen plenty of posts where the cocktails have been paired up alongside afternoon teas.
So I was lucky enough to receive a mixed box of cocktails, which consisted of; – Espresso Martini – Mojito – Sex On The Beach – Strawberry Daiquiri – Pornstar Martini x2
Each & every cocktail was sensational! They really were delicious, they didn’t last us any longer than about an hour (terrible, I know!) but I can see why the cocktails have proved to be so popular. In particular, I was extremely impressed with the Espresso Martini – the cocktail had a deep vanilla taste to it, it was absolutely gorgeous! I would 100% order an entire case of just these. I also loved the fact that the SOTB cocktail was glittery (perfect for Boomeranging!)
I would definitely recommend checking Tapp’d out, & if you can, get some ordered in – the cocktails were genuinely lush, & their popularity among the famous names says it all. I look forward to sipping in the near future! [GIFTED]

New Harveys Aperitivo is a fresh take on summer sipping.
Let’s face it, summer 2020 will be like no other. With less international travel now a reality, we’re embracing the staycation – whether that’s jumping in your car with a tent and vital supplies in tow or hosting a party in your back garden or local park. New Harveys Aperitivo – a sherry-infused drink – has launched just in time to raise a glass to celebrate being back together… at a distance.
Forget everything you think you know about sherry, Harveys Aperitivo is a truly fresh take on summer’s runaway serve, the spritz. Exclusive to the UK and developed by the renowned Harveys Bodega in the scorching heat of Jerez in southern Spain, Harveys Aperitivo comes in two flavours – Pink and Orange. Both flavours are best enjoyed poured over ice, topped up with soda water (or lemonade) and finished with a couple of red berries (Pink) or a slice of orange (Orange).
Harveys Orange is a delicious blend of two grape varieties – Palomino and Muscatel – with an aroma of bitter orange, tangerine and aromatic herbs. Harveys Pink is made of three grape varieties – Palomino, Tintilla de Rota (a local rare red wine) and Muscatel – and has a subtle aroma of red fruits and flowers. The delicious result is a low ABV (15%) and low calorie (62 kcal) light, zesty and refreshing serve, made with 100% natural flavours.
And, as the name suggests, Harveys Aperitivo is the perfect drink to enjoy in the late afternoon and early evening. Channel its rich Spanish heritage and serve it with a delicious array of tapas. Think Manchego cheese, slices of jamon and plump juicy olives, they’re perfect pairings to match the Aperitivo flavours and whisk you away (at least metaphorically) to the sundrenched shores of Andalusia.
Harveys will be sending the usual spritz and sundowners suspects straight to a new supermarket aisle, with both variants of the Aperitivo available on shelves in the sherry aisle. Harveys Aperitivo Pink is available at Tesco stores nationwide, priced £11.50 for a 75cl bottle. Harveys Aperitivo Orange is available in Sainsburys (for a limited time), priced £11.50 for a 75cl bottle.

Dine alfresco with Baileys Almande and tips from Rosie Birkett
Fresh air, a gentle breeze, and sunshine on the skin. Everything about summer makes us want to be outside. To make the most of the warmer weather, the Baileys Almande team has teamed up with Rosie Birkett, food writer and lover of all things alfresco, for her expert advice on how to celebrate the season of sun by eating, drinking, and dining in the open air. From how to style your space, to what food and drink to serve, Rosie’s got all the advice needed to turn even the smallest of spaces into a seasonal retreat – including food pairings with three delicious new cocktails featuring Baileys Almande – a dairy-free liqueur that blends beautifully with the finer flavours of summer. The collection is made up of favourite timeless drinks, that are indulgently light-tasting, dairy-free and don’t compromise on taste. So whether you want to host an intimate get-together with friends, throw your home open to all the neighbours or make your nearest and dearest feel like they’re in an at home oasis, here are Rosie’s top tips for bringing those outdoor moments to life this summer:
1.Make the most of what you have Whether it’s a doorstep, balcony, garden, or tiny terrace, almost any outdoor space can be transformed with a little bit of love. The first step is to choose your space so you know what you’re working with, then you can start to add to it. If you have a space that’s a little wilder or more overgrown, play to that. I love to use the wildness of my garden as a backdrop and work with the naturally beautiful shapes of the leaves, trees, moss and herbs growing.
2. Prepare in advance Make the most of your alfresco moment with friends by getting as much prepared in advance as you can, so that you can relax and enjoy the day. I like to choose dishes that I can make in advance – an orzo salad can be made in the morning and will sit happily in the fridge until needed. There are loads of cocktails that can be whipped up and prebatched in advance too. Put a new spin on traditional cocktails by making them dairy-free – try a Baileys Pina Almanda. All the ingredients can be blended together and then chilled, ready to be poured over ice after dinner, as a fun, light twist – just as tasty as the classic colada.
3. Have fun with flavours When it comes to what you serve, have a think about how your drinks and food can work together. Cocktails are surprisingly versatile thanks to the vast range of flavours they can cover. For instance, a vibrant and zesty Baileys Almande Passion Fruit Chilli martinicocktail works amazingly with a fruit dessert. One of my favourites at the moment is peaches with this twist on a martini cocktail, an absolute classic. As peaches and cherries are bang in season, I’ve roasted them together to bring out their flavour and sugars, and topped with a cardamom spiced crumble with toasted almonds and pecans, spooned over gorgeous clouds of sharp, creamy coconut yoghurt. This works really well with the deliciously light taste of Baileys Almande.
4. Set the scene Once you’ve chosen your space, a few little touches can really bring it to life – add cushions, chairs, a table, candles, and plants to transform the area. If your alfresco gathering is going to stretch into the evening, think about lighting for once the sun sets to add atmosphere and ambience. I love to mix and match by repurposing old jam jars for tea lights, using lanterns and thick church candles and playing with festoon lights, stringing them up on a wall or fence.
5. Set the table You can build a lovely collection of tableware without spending a fortune. Keep an eye out in second hand shops and in the homeware sections of bigger stores for nice pieces of glassware, plates and platters. You can mix up second hand pieces with a few newer, smarter bits. It doesn’t all need to be matching – I have a really eclectic mix, and a little goes a long way. Reusing milk bottles for cocktail vessels can bring a retro feel to the table too.
6. Finish in style Leave your guests with a lasting impression with the end of meal coffee by creating something visual – it’s easier than you’d think. Try a Baileys Almande Iced Coffee & Tahini Twist, where iced coffee is topped with creamy layers of Baileys Almande. As the liquid mixes it creates an insta-worthy swirl in the glass that guests will love. I like to add vegan chocolates to pair with this coffee cocktail. The chocolates are super simple to make, by adding melted cacao butter, cacao powder and maple syrup a filled with a ganache of almond butter, with a dash of Baileys Almande. The deep, dark, fruity notes of the chocolate works wonderfully with the sweet creaminess of the cocktail for an indulgently light tasting, dairy-free alfresco treat.
‘Mix it Up for Summer’ withthe Jägermeister Mule cocktail A light and refreshing mix of Jägermeister with Ginger Beer
This summer Jägermeister is introducing the Jägermeister Mule, a refreshing mix of Jägermeister, ginger beer, cucumber and lime with slightly spicy after notes. The cocktail is the brand’s meisterful reinterpretation of the classic Moscow Mule, with a twist.
Florian Beuren, UK Brand Ambassador at Mast-Jaegermeister UK explained. “The flavours in the Jägermeister Mule work together in harmony to create a really refreshing serve that lets the signature taste of Jägermeister come through. Ginger is one of the core five ingredients in Jägermeister so the ginger beer works well to amplify this. The addition of lime and cucumber balances the fiery tones of the ginger resulting in a simple yet complex serve.”
The cocktail is now available at some of the most exciting bars in the capital including Night Tales, Aqua Shard, Tramp, NT’s and Liquorette amongst others, plus you can find it at over 800 bars across the UK.
Jägermeister Mule is also perfect for creating an exciting but simple serve at-home to enjoy during pre-drinks, with a special brunch, or at a summer BBQ. In supermarkets limited edition bottles will come with a free ginger beer voucher plus a guide to creating the perfect Jägermeister Mule at home.

About Jägermeister: Jägermeister, the unique herbal spirit known for its iconic bottle was developed by Curt Mast from a secret recipe 80 years ago. A blend of 56 different herbs, blossoms, roots and fruits from all over the world, this undisclosed recipe has not changed since it was first made. The pure and natural botanical ingredients are extracted in their raw, unprocessed form through a gentle, weeks-long process of cold maceration to create Jägermeister’s base. The base, housed in more than 400 oak casks, then “breathes” for one full year to guarantee a high-quality finish, and authentic taste. Jägermeister contains 35% alcohol by volume. Made by Mast-Jägermeister SE and family owned to this day, the liquid launched in Wolfenbüttel Germany.
Best served as an ice-cold shot at -18C, or as a long drink in the popular Jägermeister Mule – a concoction of the herbal liquid, ginger beer and lime. With irreverent perfectionism at its core, the brand has steeped its roots in the music industry through its festival activation, JägerHaus, and ongoing partnerships with Soho Radio and Reform Radio.
