The lovely people at Kapow sauce recently reached out to us & gifted us with a bottle of their fantastic, versatile sauce. The sauce at first glance doesn’t give much off in the sense of what flavour it is or what it is meant to resemble, however upon further investigation (looking through the website https://www.kapowsauce.com/), you will discover that the sauce offers a sweet, smooth taste followed by a spicy kick.
With the sauce being so versatile, you can use it in many ways, such as a dipping condiment, to a marinade or even a pasta sauce. At Essex Foodies, we are keen to try it in as many ways as possible, so we will have a post to follow displaying in the many ways in which we have tried it, for the time being here is what we have used it for/with thus far
First off, we tried as a dipping sauce paired with M&S’s Meat’zza & garlic baguette. The dip was perfect with the meat’zza and gave it the oomph & kick that it lacked.
A solid 10/10 paired with the Meat’zza – cannot wait to have this again!
Keep your eyes peeled to see what we will be trying Kapow with next.
